Membership FAQ

Why is there a fee to use most of your services?

Workamper News is a professional membership organization with a custom-built website, an office, and a staff. As a small business providing the services that we do, there are many costs involved.

Keep in mind, we only make money via memberships and employment advertising.  We never sell nor trade your data, and we don't put annoying advertising network banner ads on our website.  We are 100% USA-based with a small staff of real people with an office in small-town Arkansas.  Support us so that we can continue to support you!

How do I renew my membership?

If you have been a member with us in the past, you can login to the website for easier renewal.

Click on the Login link and login using the email address connected to your membership and your password.  If your paid membership has lapsed, you can still login. You have been reverted to our free membership level (Intro).

Once logged in, you will find a Renew/Upgrade button on your Dashboard.  Or, you can also click on the MANAGE ACCOUNT button on upper right of the Dashboard. In the Membership Info section you'll find a link that says "(Click here to renew)".

You first may want to click an [edit] link and update the information on your membership account if anything has changed. Save those changes, and then click the link to begin the renewal process.  Go through each step of the renewal process, and once complete, the site will convert you to the new membership level selected.

How do I cancel my membership?

    Cancellation of Auto-Renewal
If client enrolled in automatic renewal and wishes to cancel the automatic renewal, client has that option at any time within the year and can make that change via the Manage Account page after logging into the website (just un-check the Auto Renew box and save your account page), by calling the Workamper News office at 800-446-5627, or by emailing to [email protected]

    Cancellation of Limited-Time Trial Membership
If client enrolled in a limited time trial membership and wishes to cancel the automatic renewal to a yearly membership at the end of the indicated number of days, client has that option at any time within the trial period and can make that change via the Manage Account page after logging into the website (just un-check the Auto Renew box and save your account page), by calling the Workamper News office at 800-446-5627, or by emailing to [email protected]

    Cancellation of Membership/Subscription
Workamper News offers a compelling list of benefits, but should Client wish to discontinue services for any reason, we offer a generous cancellation policy. Client may terminate this agreement at any time within the 12-month term by providing a written notice via email to: [email protected] or by calling our office at 800-446-5627.  A pro-rated amount for any unused portion of paid membership (any bonus months provided are excluded) as determined by the staff of Workamper News can be requested and refunded in the form of a paper check sent via USPS or a credit/refund to the Client's credit card used for acquiring membership.

If Client - for a second or more time - purchases membership and then requests a refund within the first two weeks after the purchase, Workamper News will provide a refund less a 10% transaction and administration fee.

If we are a two-person team/couple, do we each need our own membership account?

Not likely. If you are a 2-person team, couple or family traveling together and you will all be applying to the same Employer at the same time, then you only need one membership account. The Diamond & Platinum level of membership will provide you with access to our Resume Builder and Situations Wanted Ad tools. In the Resume Builder, there is an Applicant 1 and Applicant 2 section so you can include both names, contact info, and work history.

If you plan to apply to different Employers and you would each like to have your own resume, then you would each need your own membership account.

At this time, the daily Hotline Jobs email can only be sent to one email address per membership account. If you would like your partner/spouse to also receive the Hotline Jobs email (or our other emails), setup an automatic forward in the settings of the email account that is set to receive the Hotline Jobs email from us. You can easily find instructions on how to do this by doing a Google search for "how to create an automatic forward in (insert your email provider here)".

I used a promo code when joining/upgrading/renewing, but I don't see my bonus months?

Sorry for the confusion. If you took advantage of a promotion we were offering that provided you with bonus months added on to your one-year membership, we will get those added on soon. Our team reviews each membership order in the order that it was received. If you submitted a promo code or referral code (within the parameters of the offer), we will manually apply the bonus months to your expiration date. We will not send you a notification email that we have done so. You can view your membership expiration date at any time via the Manage Account page when logged in here at Workamper.com  Please allow 1-3 business days for us to apply any bonus months to your membership.

How can I see just the job listings for free?

Our yearly memberships provide Workampers with a complete toolkit for learning about the lifestyle and connecting with the right opportunities for them. But, if all you are interested in is looking at help wanted ads/job listings, there is an option for that (our intro status).

Access to all of our job listings is free, but it will be delayed access.  Hotline ads will be 14 days old.

    1. Join with a free 30-day trial of our Diamond membership.

    2. Edit your Manage Account page and set Auto Renew to OFF.

    3. During the 30-day trial, you can review the full toolkit of resources available to Diamond members and have immediate access to new job listings.

    4. At the end of the trial, your Diamond membership will expire and your account with us will revert to "Intro" status.

    5. Log back in to Workamper.com and go to the Manage Account page. Edit and check the box for Daily Hotline Email. Click Save. You will continue to receive the daily Hotline Jobs email, but the ads in it will be from 14 days ago.

What you will be missing out on by not being a yearly member...
