Alaska. US Army Corps of Engineers Chena Flood Control Project in North Pole, Alaska. Located 15 miles east of Fairbanks, Alaska. Three Park Host positions available May 25, 2019 through August 31, 2019. Primary duties will include basic grounds maintenance and minor landscaping and beautification (lawn mowing/planting and tending flowers), passive security, and visitor contact interpretation. The volunteers will assist Ranger staff with a variety of duties throughout the season. Volunteers are provided a full service campsite in return for volunteering.
