New Mexico. Equine Safe Haven at SaddleHawk Ranch 501c3 nonprofit in Deming, New Mexico looking for year-round help.  Length: Minimum 2 weeks- Maximum stay 2 months. Compensation: RV full hookups. No monetary compensation. Must love animals and have some experience handling/feeding.  Expectation: 15 to 20 hours a week.  Work: Cleaning pens, feeding, turning out, exercising. Horsemanship and carriage driving is taught to Veterans, and economically and physically disadvantaged. ESH uses equines that were saved from slaughter.  The owners encourage participation in activities, carriage driving, and events scheduled. This is a working ranch, and not for the feeble or timid.
