Nevada.  Red Rock Canyon NCA: The Bureau of Land Management is seeking applications for people interested in serving as Campground Hosts for the Red Rock Canyon Campground, located outside of Las Vegas, NV.  This volunteer position pays a reimbursement of $34/person per day and requires a time commitment for September 1, 2011 through June 1, 2012.  Duties include overseeing the daily use of the campground, assisting visitors, fee collection, cleaning and minor maintenance.  Hosts are provided with their own RV camp space which has a waste dump, water and propane gas (electricity not provided).  A gas generator will be provided for electricity; hosts must provide their own gasoline for the generator.  Individuals or couples may apply.  Please contact Lee Kirk at: 702-515-5227 or at:  [email protected]
