The American Bear Association (ABA) is located in Orr, MN, which is 60 miles from the Canadian border. Now hiring seasonal volunteers for the 2023 season! Lodging and meals are provided. Campsites are available with limited electricity. We are looking for volunteers that can stay MINIMUM of 1 month between May 1-September 10. Those able to stay longer will be given preference. Volunteers help prepare bear food, feed bears, answer questions, help in the visitor center/shop, etc. Many describe their experience working at the ABA as the most amazing experience of their life.
