Washington. The Westport South Beach Historical Society operates the Westport Maritime Museum and Grays Harbor Lighthouse, in Westport, WA. Westport is a quiet fishing town that offers miles of beaches down the coast and amenities like grocery, gas, laundry, restaurants, post office, and shops. We have an opening for a Workcamper at the Westport Maritime Museum giving tours of the Destruction Island Lens Hall. This is a non-paying position that includes a full hookup site. This position is easy work and you get to meet people from all over the world. Schedule will be Thursday-Sunday from 11:00-3:00. Washington. Like beautiful, lakefront sunsets? Friends of Diamond Lake Washington Foundation (FDLWF) is looking for a host to inspect boats for aquatic invasive species. In return for gifting your time and energy, you are provided with a full RV hookup. Gorgeous sunset views, fishing and swimming just feet from your RV, and a monthly stipend of $100. This position is ideal for couples or singles. Volunteers will inspect vessels 4 days/week, 5 to 6 hours/day. Position requires RV (<34'), proof of insurance, clear background report, ability to bend over to fully inspect boats. Training provided by WDFW and FDLWF. California. The Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association (MDHCA) is looking for volunteer docent RV couple at Goffs, CA. The good-natured, people-person welcome Route 66 travelers at our 1914 schoolhouse museum. We offer full RV hookup, laundry facility, and Stalink WiFi for our Docents. North Carolina. Join us at Safe Harbor Farm! We offer sixty acres of forested walking trails, nearby ocean beaches, a shaded dog park, two E/W/S sites (minimum one month commitment; longer preferred), sweet goats, goofy ducks, a teaching apiary and even the option to Workamp from a semi-furnished cabin if you’d like a year’s break from the road. Wolf Creek Grist Mill & Historic Park (an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit) is seeking a friendly, dependable couple with own RV for summer season (approx June 1 - Sept 30, but very flexible with dates), to assist with all parts of museum operations, including groundskeeping, light maintenance, tour guiding, event help, and opening visitor center. Texas. The Gulf Coast Bird Observatory is seeking Workamper volunteers at our 34-acre headquarters/bird sanctuary in Lake Jackson, TX, on Buffalo Camp Bayou. Town with all amenities within 5 minutes. RV host experience preferred, not required. Nature lovers a plus. Couples encouraged. We ask 28 hrs/week total/couple. We provide covered, concrete pad with water, sewer, electric (30/50 amp), laundry facility, and WiFi. Duties include grounds maintenance, mowing, gardening, building/equipment maintenance, light cleaning office building, events help, and/or office work.
