Texas. Come live on a ranch in the Texas Hill Country near Austin and many other surrounding cities. No experience needed just a love for ranch animals that have been rescued and are friendly. Lake Heron Retreat

Pennsylvania. Lake Heron Retreat: seeking friendly, reliable person or couple to help maintain our beautiful campground and welcome guests. We are a private Christian campground located on a 10-acre lake in PA. Our small campground is quiet, peaceful, and secluded, with great fishing, boating, and hiking on 240 acres. Job duties are not demanding. FHU RV campsite, wooded, in exchange for approximately 2-3 hours/day, 4-5 days/week, primarily Thursday-Sunday. May through September. California. The Neal Taylor Nature Center seeks camp hosts. Availability during the months of April/May 2024 through October/November 2024 (Some flexibility with dates). Duties include greeting visitors and light cleaning. A host with strong computer skills and/or gardening and maintenance skills is highly desirable for 20 hours per week for FHU site. The Nature Center has hands-on exhibits focusing on Cachuma Lake and the surrounding watersheds of the Santa Ynez and San Rafael Mountain and is located in a historic ranch house. Ohio. Wolf Creek Grist Mill and Historic Park (an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit) seeking friendly, dependable couple with own RV for summer season (approx June 1 - Sept. 30, but very flexible with dates), to assist with all parts of museum operations, including groundskeeping, light maintenance, tour guiding, event help, opening visitor center. New Mexico. Equine Safe Haven at SaddleHawk Ranch 501c3 nonprofit in Deming, New Mexico looking for year-round help.  Length: Minimum 2 weeks- Maximum stay 2 months. Compensation: RV full hookups. No monetary compensation. Must love animals and have some experience handling/feeding.  Expectation: 15 to 20 hours a week.  Work: Cleaning pens, feeding, turning out, exercising. Horsemanship and carriage driving is taught to Veterans, and economically and physically disadvantaged. ESH uses equines that were saved from slaughter.  The owners encourage participation in activities, carriage driving, and events scheduled. This is a working ranch, and not for the feeble or timid.
