Kansas. Council Grove Lake in Kansas is a smaller reservoir with breathtaking views and excellent volunteer opportunities, located near the Tall Grass Prairie within the Flint Hills. We have numerous opportunities for volunteers of any skill level: assisting visitors, maintenance, tree trimming, and much more! We are interested in seasonal or long-term volunteers with a minimum of 20 service hours per week. Full hookup sites in several campgrounds are provided in exchange for service hours.
