California. Lake Kaweah in California is now accepting applications for the 2023 year. Campground Host positions are 4/6-month commitments. The Recreation Area Ambassador position is a 3/6-month commitment. The hours are 20-25 hrs a week. A host site with full hookup is reserved for volunteers. The area is in a great location. Four hours to the Bay Area or to the Los Angeles area. There are four National Parks, one National Monument, one National Forest, three USACE lakes, BLM area, the central coast, all within an approx. 3-hour drive.
