Kentucky. Join the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery! Seeking volunteers to staff our Visitor Center and assist with outreach activities. Now hiring for 2023 and 2024. Three-month minimum commitment preferred. Duties: meeting/greeting public; answering questions; fielding phone calls; performing majority of cleaning (including center restrooms) & minor maintenance; leading tours and helping with field trips; caring for live animals; operating center gift shop; issuing hunting/fishing licenses; stocking/tracking/brochures; helping plan/prepare special events, workshops and outreach programs. Volunteers receive FHU campsite, including onsite laundry and limited WiFi, in exchange for 20-27 hours/week/person.
