Work Environment: Beet Receiving Stations (outside)
Duration: Approximately 10-15 working days starting October 1
You can’t beet this! Join us for the Fall Sugar Beet Harvest in North Dakota and Minnesota for American Crystal Sugar. These light industrial positions are NOT in the fields, but at the beet receiving stations. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Arrival dates are in September for orientation and site/shift assignment. Harvest begins October 1st and is 10-15 working days depending on mother nature. Shifts run 7 days a week in 12-hour shifts, weather permitting.
As one of the most lucrative Workamping opportunities, we offer:
Typical Workamper position is the Helper/Sample Taker - doing things like securing sample tickets from trucks, assisting Piler Operator in cleaning & maintaining the area, communicating with and directing drivers to ensure safe and accurate unloading of trucks, taking beet samples when needed.
Skilled positions of Piler Operator and Skid Steer Operator also available for qualified applicants.

The Unbeetable Experience
Location: Northwestern thumb of Michigan
Work Environment: Beet Receiving Stations (outside)
Duration: Approximately 18-21 working days starting mid-October
Michigan Sugar Company is the third largest beet sugar processor in the U.S. and the only remaining sugar company in the state! Michigan sugar has nearly 1,000 grower owners and employs approximately 700 seasonal employees at 14 beet receiving stations and 4 factories.
This short-term opportunity offers excellent compensation and attracts applicants from all over the US. Locals and Workampers alike come together to make a hefty paycheck while being able to enjoy various outdoor activities. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!
Solos, couples/teams, families considered. Join us for an an experience you will never forget with an October 15th start date and a 18-21 working day season depending on mother nature. (Our Late Arrival Program is also available!)
