Texas. Government Canyon State Natural Area seeks individuals/couples to spend at least two months hosting near San Antonio. At 12,012 acres, Government Canyon is highly dedicated to protecting our natural resources such as the Edwards Aquifer. The site has 40 miles of trails and 25 walk-in campsites. Hosts work 16 hrs/wk or 32 hours per couple in exchange for full 50 amp RV hookups and free propane. Duties may include visitor services, general maintenance, groundskeeping and other duties based on volunteer knowledge, abilities and interests.
