Time to Renew and Submit Your Address Changes–

The March/April 2011 issue of Workamper News is in production and will be mailed this week.  If you receive the hard copy of the magazine, please make sure we have your current mailing address before February18th.  This will provide time to make the update and include your correct address with the mailing list we send to the printer.  We know you don’t want to miss out!

Crooked Creek Campground & Resort will be presenting a Jobinar on Thursday, March 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. CT (11 a.m. PT/12 p.m. MT/1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET).  Crooked Creek is located 2 miles south of Hill City, South Dakota. The resort was established over 30 years ago and features 82 RV spaces, 14 unit motel, 10 modern housekeeping cabins, 5 camp cabins, heated outdoor pool, food shack and 2 bath houses. Positions are all part time. Each person must work 15 hours a week in exchange for 30 amp w/e/s site with cable and WiFi. Any additional hours worked will be paid $8.00 an hour. Welcome to the Launch of A New

Concept for Workamper News!

If you have been keeping up with your email messages from me, then you have already heard about the launch of INFUSION 2011.  If not, here’s your chance to get an overview, because it is near and dear to my heart:  thinking of you as a community, rather than as “subscribers” to a magazine.

There are some that hate to be labeled, but the plain fact is that labels are meant to be descriptive, and there’s just no way getting around it.  Do you REALLY like the label “subscriber?”   To us here at Workamper News, it just doesn’t do YOU justice!

For those of you who have been a part of Workamper News, you have seen lots of changes in the past few years and you can count on seeing more and more benefits come your way.

In a nutshell:  Our programs and members will join hands into one community through Infusion 2011.

INFUSION 2011 will usher in a

NEW era of membership!

For the past 22 years Workamper News customers have been known as subscribers.  Beginning today, February 1st, all current subscribers will become members. Your subscription will not change.  It simply becomes one benefit of membership.

As we transition into a membership program, we will be blending our existing Workamper News subscribers and members into one community, with a variety of offerings at each membership level.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS—How does this impact me?

If you are of the minority of the members, only interested in receiving the magazine, well we respect that.  Basic members  will still be able to receive the magazine in their mailbox, as well as purchase a la carte items from the Workamper News Store or University.  However, the majority of our members want access to the vast array of products and services we offer.  The further up the ladder you go in investment and participation (membership levels), the more resources and services we have bundled for you.

For example, we are NOW offering another level of membership known as Advanced Workamper Plus.  We have developed a new tool, soon to be released, called the “Advanced Tool Kit.”  We are really excited about this toolkit which will be an additional benefit of membership at that level and above.

We expect members to move up the ladder as their needs and wants allow.  However, if at all possible on your journey,
