Glass Half Empty vs. Glass Half Full…
I find it very interesting how two reporters can report on the very same location and business and come up with such different articles. I am referring to the USA Today article that came out last week and the article posted today by the Lexington Herald – Leader. Both reports were on Workampers working at the Amazon facility in Campbellsville, KY.
The reporter who wrote the article for USA Today painted a very dreary picture of Workampers working at the Amazon facility. I had the opportunity to visit with the reporter over the phone and felt she was looking to sensationalize how the economy has driven masses into the RV lifestyle. I won’t say anymore other than the article is not worth taking your valuable time to read, especially if you have something better to do like empty your black-water holding tank.
The second reporter who was not looking to paint gloom and doom wrote an article that reported more facts about why and how folks are living the RV lifestyle and experiencing Workamping in America. I would highly encourage you to read the following article online at:

I don’t get my dander up very often, but it is just so sad when someone like the first reporter can make something that can be so wonderful look so terrible because of their narrow point of view. Thankfully another reporter looked at the same situation with a different pair of glasses.
