The Workamper Rendezvous!

Registration for the Workamper Rendezvous is now open!  This event will be the first of its kind to take place in Heber Springs, AR, the home office of Workamper News.   It will be our pleasure to invite all attendees to experience spring time here on the southern steps to the Ozark Mountains.

Greers Ferry Lake will provide the backdrop for your home for a few days with beautiful campsites along the lake, just minutes from our New Community Center where all of the seminars and informational events will be taking place.

There will never be a perfect time to hold an event that will meet everyone’s schedule.  Hopefully you can plan accordingly and schedule your calendar to attend the upcoming Workamper Rendezvous as you transition from your winter agenda to your summer Workamping gig.  The benefits you will gain will we well worth the effort to blend your attendance into the spring of 2011!

Don’t Get Caught in Your Own Ooops!

You have finished your summer Workamping experienced and are thinking ahead to the future!  There are many opportunities to consider, and you are not sure which ones to pursue!  Some are more desirable than others for numerous reasons.  May the geographic location!  Possibly the industry is something that interests you?  Or there is family that lives near that you would like to have the opportunity to connect with once again?

So what method are you using to make your decision and then go after the opportunity the meets your WANT?  Are you using the Gatling gun approach where you send out numerous resumes and site back?  Or, have you decided that you don’t need to worry about it yet.  It is early and you have plenty of time?

All of the above are valid questions that I would encourage you to consider.  I hope you have a desire to provide yourself with the very best Workamping experience possible.  An experience that will answer your WANTS!   One that will be worthy of your very valuable non-recoverable asset – time.

The November/December Issue of Workamper News

The new issue is currently in production and is on track to be mailed on October 22nd.  This issue is viewed by many as the kick off recruiting issue for the upcoming Summer Season of 2011.

Now, here is a question you need to ask yourself if you have the magazine snailed mailed to you?  Is the address I currently have on file with Workamper News where I want the magazine to be mailed?  If not you have until the end of the business day on October 18th to submit an address change.

You can easily submit a change of address online once you have logged into www.workamper.com .  When you login you will see that the Login tab changes to Log out and Settings.  Click that tab and you will have a list of options with change your mailing address being one of them.

If you would prefer to call and update your address by phone, call the Workamper News office, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 501-362-2637.

The Workamper Rendezvous

We are putting the finishing touches on the registration information for the Workamper Rendezvous today and tomorrow.  It is our goal to have the information active online before the end of the day Friday, October 15th.
