Workamper News to AWARD J. Squirrel the Thank You Nut Award for Meritorious Service

I am pleased to make this announcement and to offer the following award.  You are well aware of the information OUR OWN J. Squirrel has been sharing with you at first unbeknown to us here at Workamper News.  Due to his intuitive nature, he sensed my need to assure our current subscribers of the upcoming rate change.  He heard me tell the WKN staff that I wanted to provide current subscribers the opportunity to renew or extend their valuable subscriptions at the current rates, before the rate increase on June 1st.

It is with great pleasure that
Workamper News, Inc.  Awards
 J. Squirrel The Thank You Nut Award!

It has been a real pleasure getting to know J. Squirrel over the past few weeks and I am thankful that he was successful in providing valuable information to thousands of our subscribers, and saving them dollars in the process.

Are You Wanting a Situation?

Place a Situations Wanted Ad in July/Aug issue

The deadline for the July/August issue of Workamper News magazine is quickly approaching. As a subscriber to WKN, you can place a 30-word Situations Wanted ad in the issue for FREE.  Most SW ads contain things like what type of position you’re looking for, when you want to start, where you want to be located, your skills, what type of RV you have, and your contact information. This could be a way to get your foot in the door for upcoming winter Workamping positions or next spring/summer.

Submit your ad today by going to www.workamper.com and click on Workampers -> Put Yourself Out There -> Situation Wanted Ads

You can also submit a Singles Seeking Workamping Partner ad using the same form. Any subscriber can run an SSP ad in each issue for free up to 30 words.

Revision to Jaimie’s Next RV Lifestyle Wednesday

June 2: Wednesdays with Jaimie – Boondocking or dry camping

One of your biggest expenses as an RVer can be camping fees. Fortunately, camping fees is one expense where you have a lot of control. You can camp free, at least some of the time, and how much is up to you.

In this 90-minute Webinar, Jaimie and her guest expert—an extreme boondocker—will cover:

  • What is boondocking or dry camping?
  • Where can you do find boondocking spots?
  • What do you need to boondock?
  • What choices do you have and how can you determine your needs.
  • Is it worth the expense? Will you actually save money over the long run?

June 2: 6 p.m. CT. All sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours in case you can’t make the actual date. For more information and to sign up for individual sessions, see http://www.workamper.com/education

NOTE: The Webinar on Finding Health Insurance, originally scheduled for June, has being rescheduled for September since portions of the new law are taking effect June 15 and no one is sure what effect that will have.

Workamping FAQ

Question: It seems that most Workamper jobs are for couples – - what about us singles?

Answer: This is a common misconception. For instance, in a recent issue of Workamper News, there were a total of 450 Help Wanted ads, representing several thousand job openings. Only 25% of those ads mentioned couples. However, some employers, especially campgrounds and RV parks, prefer couples, because they get two Workampers for one site. Parks that frequently fill to capacity are sacrificing revenue for every site occupied by Workampers. Another point to keep in mind is that singles often land jobs that were advertised for “couples” by being a little more creative and persistent. If you can do the work of two part-time workers, do not hesitate to contact the employer and sell yourself!

Four Steps to Workamper Freedom Series Coming!

Is Your Dream a Conditioned Response?

The entire concept and reality of living the Workamping lifestyle started as a dream for everyone involved in the lifestyle.  For many it was over a period of years.  For others it may have happened very quickly.

The concept of Workamping can be learned, and your knowledge will enable you to move towards the reality of one day living your Workamping dream!  The problem isn’t obtaining the knowledge, it is you!  Everyone begins at the same stage of Bondage.  This is the situation that the vast majority of the populations find themselves in and they remain in this stage.

Bondage is controlled by conditioning, and until you have a better understanding of what conditioning is controlling your life you most likely will remain in bondage with the dream of seeing America one job at a time not likely in your future.

This is the beginning step that we will explore together in our first of the four part series – Four Steps to Workamping Freedom.  This series will not only assist you in understanding the development of desire, but will further assist you in making the shift that will be necessary for you to experience your dream and turn your desire into reality.

This series will be recorded and available online for our Workamper
Dreamer subscribers.  Your investment in the Workamper Dreamers subscription currently priced at $37 includes the Four Steps to Workamping Freedom Series at no additional charge.  Please note that the fee for the Workamper Dreamers subscription will be increasing to $45 on June 1, 2010.  So, take advantage of the lower rate and get ready for the Workamping Freedom Series.  Go to:
http://dreamers.workamper.com to subscribe today.

The lessons you will experience through this series will not only assist you with your dream to live the Workamping lifestyle, but any other dream you currently have or will have in the future.

We will explore all four steps that include Bondage, Reason, the Terror Barrier and Freedom during this series.  The first of the series will be available online Thursday, May 27, 2010 and then one each month over the coming three months.

This is an opportunity that you won’t want to miss.

Go to:  http://dreamers.workamper.com and subscribe today.
