National School of RV Park & Campground Management. If you wish to pursue a career in the RV Park/Campground industry, we strongly recommend this school which is held each February at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia. For information contact the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds at 703-241-8801 or go to: www.campgroundschool.org. To register, call Oglebay Resort at 304-243-4126. Financial assistance: Limited scholarship funding is available through the National Foundation For RVing and Camping. Other options should be explored first for eligibility. Only those currently working in RV parks and campgrounds will be considered for scholarship assistance. Preference is given to small parks and those that are ''geographically challenged'' where high travel costs may be incurred to attend the School in West Virginia. Workamper News is a corporate sponsor of this school along with Good Sam Club, Camping World, Woodalls, Trailer Life, Evergreen USA and Coast to Coast. (posted: 01/04/2008)

The majority of Workamper jobs require little, if any, formal training. Most of our employers do a good job of providing on-the-job training. However, there may be some instances when it would be advantageous for the job seeker to have specific training on their resumé. We will post applicable training opportunities on this page as they become available. (posted: 02/17/2004)
