Alaska State Parks
 

Campground Hosts needed in Alaska State Park. We have over 50 campgrounds and day use facilities throughout the state from Fairbanks to Ketchikan. From the quiet lakeside setting on the Alaska tundra to world class fishing on the Kenai River we have a park that needs you.

For a minimum 4 to 6 week commitment, we offer a stipend and free campsite. There are no full hook ups. A handful of sites do offer extras such as electricity, water and/or a small cabin for extra living space. No special skills are needed to be a volunteer just a willingness to help others.

Any on-the-job training will be provided. Your individual talents and skills

will be appreciated and put to good use!


Besides the host positions, there are other assorted volunteer positions including:

  • Backcountry Ranger Assistant
  • Park Caretaker
  • Natural History Interpreter
  • Trail Crew
  • and more!
