Most of these positions are support jobs at the tracks -- before, during and after each event. You will have a myriad of options when it comes to these jobs. For instance, you can work an entire season at one venue, or you can follow your favorite series from track to track. You can work one event or dozens. With a little creative planning, you can even combine your motorsports job(s) with a campground or other Workamper job.

For those wondering if these jobs will allow you to actually see the races, the answer is "yes and no". Some jobs such as ushers, concessions and security might allow you to see parts of some events, but most jobs will not be conducive to race viewing. However, keep in mind that most events include several days of practice and qualifying before the big crowds arrive on the weekend. One should be able to soak up quite a bit of the racing atmosphere even when you are not able to see the big race.

Some Workampers have developed interesting strategies. For instance, some couples take turns -- the wife watches the race while the husband works, and then they switch at the next event -- or they both work every other event. Another thing to keep in mind is that some boondocking (dry camping) is required, since many tracks do not have any hookups, and those that do, do not have nearly enough.
